Gladiator electric guitars

We have a good selection of Gladiator Tele style and Strat style electric guitars available at very reasonable prices. We know there are literally hundreds of cheap copies available these days but the Gladiators are something special. Experienced guitarists who have played them in the shop have been amazed at the look, feel and sound of these guitars. They come in two prices ranges – $300 and $500 the main difference being the body wood  used.  The $300 version is basswood and, in the case of the T-style guitars the $500 instrument has an ash body.  Here’s what Saga the manufacturer of these great instruments says about the $500 version.

“The authentically contoured body is of American Ash and the bolt-on neck is a solid piece of Canadian maple, which incorporates the 12-fret fingerboard with its abalone position dots. The vintage-style ‘skunk stripe’ is inlaid in the back of the neck. Two powerful Wilkinson single-coil ceramic pickups with Alnico magnets combine with a 3-way switch for a variety of authentic tones. The traditional stamped-steel bridge with 3 saddles is pure vintage, and the small-button, enclosed tuning machines are period correct. ”

A lovely cream T-style left the shop in the hands of a very happy experienced guitarist, definitely not a beginner. Come into the shop and play one for yourself.
