This highly decorated tenor from Gold Tone is an impressive instrument with tree of life neck inlays, which, years back, was a sign of high quality workmanship.
It’s a 19 fret banjo with an unusual feature of being an arch top tone ring. The head surface is therefore smaller than a flathead and so boosts the bright tones.
Certainly a fine jazz banjo but possibly a bit dressy for other trad players.
Big bonus from Gold Tone, it comes in a great hardshell case which many the more folky players would surely envy. Small banjo cases are hard to find.
