These particular models were first introduced in the early sixties and Guild has brought them back to life as the Starfire I DC electric guitar. They come in a nice range of colours. Great blues players such as Buddy Guy frequently used the starfire.

Note the Bigsby style tailpiece is a feature on the Emerald Green and Pelham Blue but not the Cherry Red. That model has the classic Guild tailpiece and so is listed at a lower price.

The Starfire I DC electric guitar comes in Cherry Red, Pelham Blue and Emerald Green.
