Description
The Loar LH-300-VS 1920s Style Guitar
A classic design from the early 20th century, these LH-300-VS 1920s style guitars from The Loar have a punchy sound. This was ideal for maximum projection, required in the pre-electric guitar period.
The design was perfected by Lloyd Loar, who was very much inspired by ancient violin making. Violins had the carved, arched, top and back. These features are embedded in the now legendary mandolins from the same period, also made by Lloyd Loar.
The LH300VS is a great archtop at a great price.

Value for money! Can’t complain about $1400 guitar with a carved top, weight behind the sound and a nice sunburst! Good price point value! Does the job! 4 and a half stars!
