Lute by Gerhard Reither 1974

This Lute built by master luthier Gerhard Reither was made in 1974. It is truly a huge undertaking to build such a complex instrument. The workmanship is stunning and very specialised.

It has 12 courses with gut frets so that is 24 strings in total.

The case, yes it does come with a case is also professionally made.

We just need to find someone who can play it so it can go to a good home.
