Charango by Alandres, Bolivia

Alandres build quality charangos in La Paz, Bolivia. Carved from just one piece of solid Jacaranda they have a unique sound of their own. They are tuned similar to a uke on 4 of the five courses with an extra E on the top string as G-C-E-A-E. It is s traditional instrument of Bolivia, Chile and Peru along with panpipes (and ponchos).
