Unlike other big US brands they have not suffered the ups and downs of corporate takeovers which inevitably historically have resulted in quality issues through the decades.

Guild have appeared to be more robust in this regard and have held their high quality through the rough times of US guitar manufacturing. Their mid level guitars are made in Korea and maintain the high Guild standard we have come to expect from an iconic brand.
