C.F. Martin is where the steel string guitar really began. Many of the body sizes we recognise today can be attributed to this historic guitar company. The peghead reads established in 1833 but at that time the guitar was in it’s infancy. It wasn’t until the next century that the guitar found the place in modern music that it has today.
