The mighty little Charango features in Bolivian music constantly. These instruments are a cross between a uke and a mandolin. Musicians are now re-purposing these charming little gems for other music styles.

This Alandres roundhole model charango has it’s fingerboard made from Jacaranda which is great for the longevity and tone of a Bolivian charango.

The neck and body has been hand carved from Naranjillo. This tonewood is similar to maple being blonde in colour and very hard.

It is the tonewood of choice for many Charango Luthiers.

Comes with traditional patterned cloth bag but we can supply an excellent hard case for a extra cost of $130. Contact us to arrange.
