Alandres Charango Jarka Style

Alandres is a charango company that build high quality Charangos from entry level to higher quality professional instruments based in Bolivia. They have been building for many years, the Charangos we stock are not made for the tourist market, which is huge business in Bolivis and Peru.

I visited those countries several years ago and always in search of new instruments found them literally for sale everywhere. It took some time and a little luck to find a serious instrument shop tucked away in a small lane. I knew I had struck gold and came back with several beautiful Charangos.

This satin finished dark Jarka wood charango is a really simple sweet sounding instrument. Some players like the highly decorated versions but this one is for the slighly more conservative player. The fingerboard is standard Jacaranda.

Comes with traditional bag but cases are available for $130.
