Saga SS-10 Openback Banjo

Saga Music California are a US company that own many brands. Kentucky, Regal, Blueridge, Gitane, Trinity College, Goldstar and Flint Hill are all made by Saga Music.

This little openback is one of the few instruments they make under the Saga brand. We were selling these banjos back in 2007 and they were around way before then.

The SS-10 openback has some nice features. The headstock is Gibson-Vega inspired with half-moon and stars inlays. The SS-10 also has traditional planetary tuners intead of guitar tuners that are so often used on banjo in this price range. The SS-10 has a proper rolled brass tone ring and a quality 5th string geared machine head.

With an RRP of $1049 it would be a good buy but we can offer this gem for only $899 with a gigbag and with 1 capo spike shop fitted for higher tunings.
