More details about Trinity College TM-250 Mandolin
This Trinity College TM-250 mandolin has a simple flat top and flat back design. This mandolin is about as far away from a Gibson pattern as you can go. It has a solid Sitka spruce for the top and solid maple for back and sides and we have found that the TM-250 is a popular mandolin with Celtic and European style players. An added bonus for left handers, is it can be changed around successfully due to having parallel bracing inside.
It also has a wider nut for players needing a little more room to move on the fingerboard.
