Vega Whyte Laydie Banjo

As far as Vega banjo records show, this model was built around 1926. Serial number is 88049, model number 2.

The head has been replaced with a modern fibre skin which is not unusual with a banjo this old. The original machine heads are working fine and there’s very little fret wear. It must have had a refret at some point and this has been done very well.

The original case is beaten up but still functional.
