A copy of a Spanish-style guitar built by Joseph Panormo, Soho, 1827, based on the original and restored in Ian’s workshop. This model is quite distinct and pre-dates the earliest guitars Louis Panormo-labelled guitars.
Belly: 2 pieces of bookmatched pine with 5 fan bars and a rosette of rings and pearl dots.
Back and sides: Monterrey Cypress and Yew wood in alternating strips. Assembly is in the Spanish style with cedar tentelones and bar supports. The neck and head of Spanish Cedar with a rosewood headplate.
