More details about Martin 000-17S Guitar 2002
On doing some research about this model it seems that these guitars were made in very small numbers as prototypes. The Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum suggested that only three were made in three models, Dreadnaught, double zero and triple zero. Along with the serial number and model stamp inside the neck block, there is a patent pending stamp (see photo) which seems to confirm the on-line info from UMGF page may be correct.
The guitar overall is in very good condition. It does have a minor signs of wear on first and second frets but no chips or deep scratches on the body.
It comes with it’s original case which is also in very good condition.
