Pisgah Dobson Pro Banjo

We have been waiting with anticiptation for the arrival of Guitar Gallery’s latest line in quality handmade banjos. Finally they are here and boy are they good. This Dobson Pro model has so much figured maple on board that it’s hard to find any plain maple anywhere. Having sold a lot of openback banjos over the years, the 12 inch pot is the way to go. Big bass notes and heaps of resonance if you want it. For the shy players a little piece damping foam between the dowel stick and heading will pull back the volume a little but really, if you have a Pisgah Dobson in your hands, don’t be shy.
