Regal RD-40CH Cherryburst. Round neck single cone resonators have a much sweeter tone that their metal body cousins. Many fingerstyle country blues use them and they are ideal for a twangy style that electric guitar players use. These guitars were often featured in the 1960’s by Nashville session players as an electric guitar alternative on many acoustic tracks. Players would fit very light gauge strings and use electric guitar styles on them.
