Octolindo Octave Mandolin Range

Octolindos are a whole new step into another alternative mandolin world. They are essentially octave mandolins but with slightly larger guitar style bodies.

Octave mandolins generally have a body cavity (size) that is only a little bit larger than the mandolin.

With the common tuning being one whole octave below a mandolin, standard octave mandolins seem to lack a little fullness in their sound.

An Octolindo fixes this easily with guitar style internal bracing and shape. Octolindos also come in flat top form or archtop. The tone between these two is quite substantial and normally players gravitate towards one or the other. The F model has a little more peak in the mid-range tones.
