Santa Cruz VA Vintage Artist

This Santa Cruz VA is in great condition and is noticably very lightweight. That may go some way towards explaining why it sounds so good. The forward scalloped X-braced top has been finely tuned and so gives the guitar a very balanced tone with no dip in the mid-range that some dreadnaughts have as part of their sound. Great for rythm styles but maybe not so ideal for solos all across the fretboard. Tony Rice certainly liked the Santa Cruz sound.

Serial number 5070 dates it 2006.

Comes in a solid TKL case also in condition.
