This Kentucky KM-1000 has had a K&K pick-up fitted and has been used onstage. The previous owner eventurely found that a wider neck was required.
The mandolin has a little patina in the classic spots which is mainly on the scroll area. The fingerboard extension has been scalloped so the annoying pick striking issue has been eliminated.
It comes in a classic Golden Gate case with the plush green velvet interiour and is in excellent condition. All in all it is a fine F-5 style instrument and the Adiriondack spruce top has been already “played in”.
