The Eastman MD305 is a perfect first time or starter mandolin that is well above many entry level instruments. The machine heads are precise so tuning is easily achieved which is paramount for a new player.

The satin finish is nicely done and gives the MD305 a vintage look. It comes with a very well padded gig bag.
