Bajo Sexto Mexican Guitar

The Bajo Sexto is a 12 string guitar that is tuned in unison pairs. Unlike regular guitar tuning the top B and E string are tuned to C and F. With those string being one semi-tone above standard guitar this makes it tuned in fourths consistantly across all strings.

Playing standard guitar chords will not work on this instrument. The lower four courses are frequently used as a bass would be used while the top two can be for melody or solo work. This Bajo Sexto comes with a hard case and has a pick-up on board.
