More details about Kentucky KM-750 Mandolin

The Kentucky KM-750 is without a doubt a fine Bluegrass mandolin. The finely carved scroll and high grade timbers gives you a classic looking mandolin with a powerful tone that any mandolin player will appreciate, especially for a Bluegrass player. This mandolin design is now accepted as the Stradivari of the modern world, original Gibson Lloyd Loar models being so rare that they are almost priceless. Lloyd Loar worked for Gibson USA for only a short period but certainly made his mark as a pioneer of carved archtop design taking inspiration from the grand master violins of Cremona 300 years earlier.

Like violins, you can often judge a mandolin by the level of perfection in the scroll, look for smooth curves and fine delicate points.
