More details about Blueridge BR-260 Guitar

The Blueridge BR-260 Guitar has back and sides crafted from retrieved stumps Brazilian rosewood, the timber used in these guitars is very old and very, very dense and is legendary in the history of guitar making .It is now highly prized and pretty hard to find. If this guitar was not made by Saga Music California in China it would at least twice this price and they no longer are being made.

The East Indian Rosewood substitute that is used today in guitar manufacturing does not offer quite the same tone. One of the big differences is that they retain their thicker depth of tone in higher fret positions with a tighter more focused bass response on the lower strings. The rosewood this guitar is made from will never be available again and like all tone woods improve with age.

We also have just one BR-280 available which has the Martin style pearl inlays. Call us for more details.
